The Challenge
A good cause that needed a real store.
Gratitude for Maine is a mission-driven shop with a simple, powerful goal: every order helps send a Maine child to summer camp. The products celebrate the beauty of Maine, from design to packaging, and all proceeds go straight to the cause.
To do that at any scale, the project needed a proper online store, not just a landing page. That meant real e-commerce: a product catalog, a checkout that works, and a way for supporters to donate directly, all in one place and easy for a small volunteer team to run.
This one was personal. We took it on pro-bono because we believe in the mission and wanted to give back to our community, the same way the cause does.

E-Commerce Website
Designed and built the full store on WordPress and WooCommerce, the right platform for a volunteer-run shop with a real product catalog. Product pages, cart, and a smooth checkout, wrapped in a clean design that leads with Maine imagery.
Store & Donations Setup
Set up the product catalog, payments, and a dedicated donation flow so supporters can buy or give directly. Configured so the team can add products, manage orders, and update the site themselves without a developer.
Brand & Story
Shaped the look and the message so the mission comes through on every page: this is a Maine store where every purchase sends a Maine kid to camp. The cause leads, and the shopping experience makes it easy to help.
Gratitude for Maine now has a real store behind its mission, one that can take orders, accept donations, and grow without a developer on call. We were glad to build it, and even gladder about where every order goes.
